Anup Das


Anup is a Futurist & Entrepreneur with professional experience & expertise of more than 25 years in Healthcare Industry. He comes with profound working knowledge in vast geographies including, Africa, Asia, Middle East & Europe.
He is the Founding Director of 1SOS (2006), Amazing Africa Knowledge Delivery Limited (2013), Unicorn Global (2016), AKD Future Holding (2017), AMAR Hospital (2018), CEO of Nanyuki Cottage Hospital, Consultant & Advisor to the Board of M.P. Shah Hospital- Nairobi, Heritage Medical Park- Kigali, Meghraj Capital, Clinivantage, MIA, PWC and few other organizations, He is the founding Board member & Current Chairman of Cancer Alliance- Kenya, Held couple of leadership roles as CEO & MD of some Big Healthcare groups in the past.
He served as the CEO of M.P. Shah Hospital, he was the MD & Group CEO for Mediheal Group of Hospitals, Chief Executive Officer for Medanta Africare; and was instrumental in launching & establishing these companies in Africa and then taking them to greater heights. Anup worked with world class Multinationals like Novartis- Sandoz, Johnson & Johnson, IMS Health, BOC Gases, BD, PFIZER and SEARLE in the past.
Anup is an MBA in General Management, Strategy & Leadership from Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Philippines (a set up by Harvard Business School), also a post graduate (MSc) in Science from Presidency College/University, Calcutta; Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons.) from Ram Krishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College, University of Calcutta; Schooling throughout India in Kendriya Vidyalaya.
His expertise includes Entrepreneurship, Leadership through managing Business Directors & General Managers, Business Development, Greenfield/Brownfield & Expansion Projects, Startups, Analysis, Planning, Feasibility, Strategy, Consulting, Mergers & Acquisitions, Forecasting, Project management, Operations, Sales & Marketing. He has commendable network, experience & understanding of Healthcare Industry, Hospital business, Diagnostics, Medical Devices & Pharmaceutical business.
