Dr Jacinta Nasimiyu Wasike is a career professional in the Health Sector with more than 15 years of experience inPharmaceutical regulation. She is a Senior Deputy Chief Pharmacist currently serving as the Director, Inspection, Surveillance and Enforcement at the Pharmacy and Poisons Board. Dr Wasike holds a Bsc. Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Nairobi and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Strathmore University, Nairobi Kenya. She has been involved in The East African Community Medicines Regulatory Harmonization Programme (EAC MRH), more specifically GMP. Development and Implementation of Kenya GMP RoadMap, EAC GMP RoadMap and EAC Regional Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Plan of Action (EAC RPMPoA, 2012 –2017 and 2017 –2022).She has received extensive on-the-job training including corporate governance, change management in modern state corporations. Dr Wasike values teamwork, honesty, diligence and servant leadership as her model of delivery in her work and life processes.
